A small but pleasant cafe with a
full menu of Lebanese, Moroccan, and other Middle Eaastern favorites,
Aladdin's is a busy place these days, especially at lunch--although
they stay open all day. A particular specialty is couscous, which they
prepare and serve in the traditional manner, with all the vegetables
and sauces. Very filling and good. Lamb is also a big deal here,
showing up in many parts of the menu, grilled, ground, and otherwise.
You can start with some well-made Mediterranean salads, a fine hummus,
or fried kibbe, and then move on to the shawarmas, the kebabs, the
tagines and a few vegetarian items. Aladdin's is a little hard to see unless you're looking for it, in a short row of restaurants in a small strip mall near the big Lowe's store. Menu Updated December 2005. Click here for current menu. |
