Chad's Bistro occupies the
charming former dining rooms of Crozier's, on the lake side of West
Esplanade just off Causeway Boulevard. Unlike the other restaurants in
this space since Crozier's, Chad's is an entirely new, non-French
concept. The menu is mostly casual New Orleans Creole food, with an
emphasis on fresh seafood, with a little touch of Italian for good
measure.
Chad's caught the eye of many a Metairie diner for reviving late night
dining on weekends. The bar, which has a limited grill menu, stays open
almost all night, and is usually full. That service still remains a
rarity elsewhere around town, and it's good to have it here.
