Thai Spice is the latest restaurant from colorful owner-chef Ricky (he goes by that one name only), who has operated Asian restaurants around New Orleans for decades. His restaurant's menu is an encyclopedia of classic Thai cooking, deftly turned out using great fresh ingredients and a bit too generously served. The dining room has clean, spacious lines, and you can hear the kitchen banging out its deliciousness to order. Ricky tours the dining room frequently, meeting his many regular customers.
