A shorter menu, but still lots of seafood, filleted in house. 4. Vincent's. 4411 Chastant St., 885-2984. Also 7839 St. Charles Ave. 866-9313. Creole Italian all the way, done as well as can be imagined. 5. Del Porto. 205 N. New Hampshire. 985-875-1006. A fine little Tuscan trattoria on a side street in Covington, with the closest thing to the actual food of Italy I've found. 6. Irene’s Cuisine. 539 St. Philip. 529-8811. Impastato's. 3400 16th Street. 455-1545. Comfortable with the renovations, and great soft-shell crabs and seafood. 9. Bacco. 310 Chartres. 522-2426. Tuscan influences, with a wood-burning grill and a taste of adventure. 10. Fausto’s. 530 Veterans Blvd. 833-7121. Sicilian cooking, with an emphasis on seafood. © 2005 Tom Fitzmorris.
