By Tom Fitzmorris Originally published November 14, 2007 Byblos Goes To The Dogs This Thursday, the Byblos on Magazine Street will give up twenty percent of its take for the day to the Louisiana SPCA. This was originally planned to happen at Table One, but the restaurant closed before it rolled around on the schedule. The same people own Byblos, and they didn't want to break their promise to the SPCA, so here it is. It costs no more to dine at Byblos tomorrow than usual; the restaurant just adds up the sales for the entire day and writes a check for the SPCA. I think they also have the belly dancers on Thursday night, too. Byblos set a new standard for Lebanese food when it first opened in 1994, and they still lead that league.
