By Tom Fitzmorris Originally published December 13, 2007 3-6 p.m. Weekdays New Time For The Food Show On Radio Beginning Monday, December 10, The Food Show With Tom Fitzmorris moved to a new time. Which is actually an old time. And a much better time. The whole three hours moved one hour later, beginning at three in the afternoon and going until six. That will put it on the air during the time when most people are heading home, and thinking about dinner. Which is why, starting about eight years ago, it went to that time period in the first place. The only disadvantage is that during the winter the station's signal shifts at sunset, making it tough for North Shore listeners to catch it. That happens at five in November and December, but begins nudging earlier after that. By March, the whole show gets in on the full signal. Which isn't too bad. The new time also allows us to resume our remote broadcasts from restaurants, which had been more or less in abeyance during the past year. And it permits me to have lunch, and to report on it. So it's a huge improvement, even though the shift is only an hour. Thank you for listening! The station is 1350 AM, WWWL.
