Susan Spicer's Cookbook Coming Oct. 23;
Special Menus Come With It


Susan Spicer, one of the city's most celebrated chefs, has finally found time in her busy schedule (she's constantly involved not only with her restaurants, but also many public service projects) to write and publish a cookbook. Crescent City Cooking is set to appear officially on Tuesday, October 23, and her restaurant Bayona will celebrate the publication with a week's worth of dishes from the book.

The lady herself will be at her flagship Bayona (as she almost always is) to autograph copies of the book all that week.

And while they were telling me that, they added that they've tweaked their lunch service a bit. Bayona is one of the rare first-class restaurants that had lunch on Saturday, from 11:30 till 2:30. Among other possibilities, there's a light lunch special of three appetizers for $20.
