First Full Schedule Since Katrina; Validated Parking For Lunch
Antoine's Now Open Six Days For Lunch
And Dinner, Plus Sunday Brunch

After nearly three years of operating on a peculiar schedule, Antoine's has returned to its pre-K hours: lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday. Until Wednesday, they only had lunch on Fridays, and were closed entirely most Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

They're also continuing their Sunday brunch. That was something new, and it's successful enough that it's become a fixture. Its the first time in its history that Antoine's has been open seven days a week on a regular basis.

At the same time, the old establishment offered to pick up the cost pf parking for lunch. The garage is Premium Parking, at 535 Chartres, one door down from the Royal Orleans Hotel's garage entrance. (The parking facility used to be the studios of Channel Six.)

This is welcome, of course, as is the lunch menu created for Fridays a year or so ago. It makes the price of the midday meal more in line with the expectations of typical diners. For most of its history, Antoine's ran the same menu at both lunch and dinner, making the former a bit steep.
