Archived Article By Tom Fitzmorris Originally published December , 2005 Click here for the current edition Crescent City Brewhouse Reopens With Arty Party I keep running into Wolf Koehler on the streets of the French Quarter, and every time I do he says that the Crescent City Brewhouse--which he owns--will reopen a little later than the date he gave me the last time. Understandable. But now it's for real: the Brewhouse returns, complete with beer brewed on premises, an oyster bar, and live jazz--at noon today. And they're having an event to underline the fact that they're back. Tonight, Thursday, December 1, they're having a reception and showing of art by two New Orleans artists, Saralee Keating and Maria Gatti. The receptions is free and open to the public, and is made further attractive by complimentary beer, soft drinks, and appetizers.
