Bar Appetizers, Too
Delmonico Begins After-Hours Special Menu

Starting Wednesday, October 1, Emeril's classic restaurant Delmonico will offer an early-evening, half-price drink menu weekdays for the upscale after-work crowd. What caught my eye is that they've started up a bar menu, which I don't recall their ever having before. I like bar menus in places like this. Wish I got off the air in time to make it to this.

Here's some of the bar menu:
  • Grilled Duck Confit and Camembert Sandwich
  • Housemade Charcuterie Sampler
  • Dirty Rice Boulettes with Creole Mustard Sauce
  • House made Pretzel with Sea Salt and Dijon-Goat Cheese Fondue
  • Ceviche Avelar
  • Crabmeat and Bacon Devilled Eggs with Salsa Verde
Don't know what the prices are. They also have a special cocktail menu, including the classics as well as some new ideas. For example, the Magritte: Hendrick's Gin, cucumber, basil, fresh lemon juice, and soda. That should give people something to talk about.
