That will come as great news to the one or two hundred people who've asked us about the future of the restaurant almost daily since the storm. Joe has spent most of his time in Memphis since the storm, but always intended to reopen the second-floor establishment in the shadow of the Mississippi River Bridge. The loss of long-time chef Anthony Piazza, who passed away about a year and a half ago, certainly hit the restaurant hard. But Segreto--who has operated many restaurants over the years--has a new young chef and he's ready to resume the chummy dining phenomenon on Annunciation Street. Great to have him back!
