Yesterday I got this one from Emeril's, which asks $75 (inclusive of tax and tip, but not drinks) for this menu: Shrimp remoulade
Crabmeat deviled eggs Homemade sausages with peppers and onions Carved filet mignon with creamed potatoes and homemade Worcestershire Crabmeat-stuffed flounder Grilled shrimp with farfalle pasta, fresh basil and tomatoes Spinach and ricotta lasagna with fresh herbs and homemade pasta Baked stuffed clams Smoked salmon with broche and garnishes Smoked chicken and sausage gumbo Shrimp and prosciutto quiche Warm crabmeat dip Baked Bried with apples and honey The party goes from four till eight, before the game, at Emeril's, 800 Tchoupitoulas. Whether Emeril himself will be there or not is unknown, but he might--he's been here a lot lately, notably for that event he did last week with Wynton Marsalais for 4,000 New Orleans schoolkids. Reservations should be made at 528-9393. © 2006 Tom Fitzmorris. All rights reserved. news@nomenu.com |
