Archived Article By Tom Fitzmorris Originally published December , 2005 Click here for the current edition Feelings Cafe Comes Back Feelings Cafe added itself to the very short list of restaurants open eat of Elysian Fields last week, when it resumed service in its early-1800s building in Marigny. The main house and the guest houses suffered little damage and no flooding; the biggest problem was that most of the neighborhood--from which the restaurant draws both patrons and employees -- was hit hard by the storm. They're back with a somewhat abbreviated menu Thursdays through Sundays for dinner, and Fridays for lunch. The person I spoke with there couldn't say whether the Sunday brunch is being served, but that would likely be the busiest meal of the week for them, so I suspect it is. (I will try to find this out later today.) Feelings, if you've never been there, is an antique restaurant with a menu from thirty years ago.
