Fellini's Cafe opened Monday, the first restaurant in the formerly burgeoning North Carrollton restaurant row to come back since the storm. Because they are in a heavily-flooded area, they're still hamstrung by the problems that affected all restaurants months ago: no phone, limited hours, limited menu. But it's still great to see the place come back, because it sets an example for the rest of the many eateries along the new City Park branch of the streetcar line.

Fellini's, if you've never been, is a combination Middle Eastern and pizza and pasta house. It's in a well-renovated ancient gas station on Carrollton at Dumaine. They're open from 11 a.m. till 8 p.m. seven days. 900 N. Carrollton Ave., 488-2155.
