New Orleans Food & Spirits, Bucktown, Reopens. The last of the three locations of this good seafood house has returned. It's in what would seem like a perilous spot--just over the levee from the lake in Bucktown, and on an incline, to boot. It seems the building had a little damage, but nothing disastrous. That's amazing, considering that the restaurants at West End Park, three blocks away, were wiped off the face of the earth. In addition to all the usual fried and broiled seafood platters, New Orleans Food & Spirits offers some good specials, the most interesting of which is the country-style Cajun stewed rabbit on Thursdays. They're open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday, and dinner on just Friday and Saturday for now. 210 Hammond Hwy., 828-2220.
