Volunteer For New Orleans Wine And Food Experience,

Apparently even the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience is suffering from a lack of personnel. They've always had a significant number of volunteers helping out.
But this is the first time I've seen a broadcast call for volunteers. They need them for all the events, starting with the Vintner Dinners on Wednesday, May 24 through the Bubbles and Brunch on Sunday, May 28. They want people to do things like man the ticket desks, distribute glassware, and greet guests at the dinners.
If you work two shifts doing this stuff, you'll get a free ticket to one of the Grand Tastings (those sell for $85), a NOWFE golf shirt, and the 2006 NOWFE poster, which was designed by Maureen Erikson of Toad Hollow Vineyards.
