Thursdays and Fridays
One Restaurant Begins Lunch

The one I'm talking about is called "One," a great little gourmet Creole bistro in the Riverbend. Operated by Chef Scott Snodgrass and Lee McCullough--both alumni of Clancy's--One opened just before the hurricane, and came back shortly thereafter. As far as I've been able to tell, it's served nothing but great food all along.

They haven't served lunch until now, however. They're just doing it Thursdays and Fridays, but in case you're Scott or Lee, I plead with you to include Saturdays. I'm constantly being asked for lunch places for that day, and very litte above the sandwich-shop level is open.

Here's the beginning lunch menu:
