It was posted by an unregistered source calling itself "Pho Tau Bay" on the Talk Food with Tom messageboard, which is not entirely credible. But I do believe that this is authentic: To put an end to rumors: Yes, we are opening in Pennsylvania. But yes, we are going to return to our home New Orleans. We love our patrons and customers and miss everyone very much. For those who supported us, we appreciate all of the business, and we would never leave New Orleans without a fight! The three locations of the Vietnamese soup house were all seriously damaged by the hurricane, particularly the new Mid-City restaurant. The restaurants had a tremendous following (with good reason--the food was delicious), and the number of e-mails I've received asking about it has been tremendous. Now we know.
