It was just enough into the flood zone to make total rebuilding necessary (and don't ask about the building's basement). He's starting slow, with a table d'hote lunch menu featuring his usual country French ideas (new ones every day, it seems). The place is also serving lunch and dinner for the benefit of the hotel guests, but Rene says it's not ready for your palate quite yet. But the regulars are filtering in anyway. 817 Common, 412-2580 . © 2006 Tom Fitzmorris. All rights reserved. news@nomenu.com |
