By Tom Fitzmorris Originally published October 16, 2006 Click here for the current edition Rum Dinner At Cafe Adelaide Commander's Palace's reopening certainly has received the attentions of Ti Martin and Lally Brennan, but they seem to have developed a liking for Cafe Adelaide after allthe months they were on bivouac there. And they apparently want to keep things lively. So this Thursday they're doing a rum-drink-paired dinner. This is not a bad idea; Trader Vic's and its local copy the Bali Ha'i became famous for their rum drinks. Which, because they often contain fruit juices, go pretty well with food. The dinner is $85 per person inclusive of tax, tip, and all the cocktails, which will be made by Cafe Adelaide's delighful cocktail chef, Lu Brow.
