Was Back, Then Gone Again, And Now Open For Real A few weeks ago, Chef Scott Boswell, who owns the wonderful Stella! on Chartres Street, held a series of three major wine dinners featuring the French-style Iron Chef from Japan, it was to herald Stella!'s return to active service. Then the place closed again. Not enough people to staff the place up to his standards, is what Boswell told me. Last Wednesday, I ran into him at Iris, and he said that the p[revious weekend he'd been open all three nights, and that he would stay open from now on. It would be a limited schedule if it had to be, but this is it. "This is it" is the hard part of getting a restaurant reopened, and it appears to be worse than starting from scratcth.
