Tony Angello Shrugs Off Another Problem Tony Angello, having restored his restaurant after ten-foot flood waters stoofd in it for two weeks, had a scary problem a couple of weeks ago. Sent to the hospital by chest pains, he was found to have a heart aneurism. It was corrected with stents, and he left the hospital five days later. He showed up at the restaurant a week after that. He's about to turn eighty-one. Is he the Energizer Bunny? Superman? An inspiration, that's for sure. His restaurant was only a few blocks from the levee break that caused most of the worst flood damage in the city. Even with his neighborhood still sparsely settled, he got it back open and is once again packing them in. What a guy! Tony Angello’s. 6262 Fleur de Lis Dr. 488-0888. © 2007 Tom Fitzmorris.
