Acropolis is a rare find in New Orleans: a Greek restaurant, as opposed to the more common Middle Eastern ones. The menu is surprisingly large for such a small restaurant, and includes all the familiar Greek specialties. The specials bring to the table dishes otherwise found only at the annual Greek Festival. Complete dinners of four courses (three at lunch) come for prices in the mid-$20s, and are as delicious as they are filling. The menu goes on to include hand-made pizzas and pasta dishes, making it appealing for families and those who haven't yet discovered the deliciousness of Greek cooking. Otherwise, the Acropolis Cuisine has the feeling of a New Orleans neighborhood cafe. Menu Updated May 2009.
