Red Beans Brightens The Day.

Red beans.Mary Ann had some errands to run that would send her past quite a few restaurants, so I placed an order for red beans and rice with hot sausage from the Camellia Café. After the radio show, I tucked into it, eating only half and enjoying it twice as much as usual. Red beans and rice is my favorite comfort food. I almost always eat it as my first meal back from travels. And when I feel disconnected from life. As I do, a little. However, I am really and truly in the zone, churning out over ten thousand words of new writing a day. What else can I do?

Well, one other thing. I am into the new book about Frank Sinatra's early years that MA bought for me at the Borders closeout sale. I learned something about Blue Eyes that I didn't know, and am not sure I wanted to know. How shall I put this? Seems that he had an advantage over most guys.

The best news of the day is that I woke up with no significant swelling or pain from the gout I had to put up with last week. The pills apparently worked. Unfortunately, they had a side effect. Fortunately, that's also gone. You don't want to know about it.
