Oak is New Orleans newest wine bar and bistro. located at 8118 Oak St. New Orleans, La (NOLA). Only steps off the streetcar line on Oak St at S. Carrollton Ave. We opened Oak in August 2010. Michelle Geuydan is the sommelier/general manager. Aaron Burgau, Chef and owner of Patois Restaurant, is working with us as a consultant to design the menu. Oak is a full service bar with an amazing wine list, cocktail list, and live music nightly. Oak opens at 5:00pm, Tuesday through Sunday. We are closed on Mondays. The hours will be increasing as our business grows. We are in the process of updating this site to show specials and music performances. We look forward to seeing you there.
