The Taste Buds--the guys who developed the concept and excitement originally--have mostly moved on to other projects, and the new management team is taking a more conventional approach. Still here is the international touch and a predominance of pasta. But the new dishes and the reworked versions of the old ones have been tailored to reach a wider audience--and you know what that means. Still, the concept is so good that the food here is way up on the charts as chain restaurants go. Service could use a lot of work.
