Hey there, I just thought I'd send you a quick note about a place in Metairie a friend recommended. It's called The Club House, and you'd miss it (or steer clear of it) upon passing it for the first time. The address is on Sanford Street, just off the corner of Veterans and Clearview and it kinda looks like a biker bar, but with a funny sort of patio out front. Anyways, looks can be decieving and the food there was just outstanding! It's not your average diner menu, although they have burgers and such. Everything is home made and they actually employ a real Chef! Try the fried chicken or any of the daily specials. I was there on a Wednesday where they had bbq pork ribs (wild amount of flavor, just falling off the bones too!) served with blackeyed peas and rice, just $6!!! I couldn't finish it. Anyway, give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed. BTW, love your site!!! Raven
